We had an unusual request in that we were near Austin and our Mom was in Turkey, TX. We wanted to give her new carpet and called to see if Raider Flooring could make it happen. They said they could and they did! She is so happy with her new carpet and we are happy we chose to work with Danny at Raider Flooring. He took great care of all. Give them a try!Posted on Dave ClarkTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Derek was able measure and have his crew install our carpet in one day! The folks were super nice and explained everything about taking care of my new floors so well that it all made sense. They really went the extra mile to make sure I was happy and answered every last question of mine. I'd give them two thumbs up and would shout out about them to anyone needing new floors!Posted on don hurdTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. They were helpful in helping us pick out the right flooring since we have dogs. They also did a great job on the installation. It looks great!Posted on Tracey MilsopTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I cannot express my gratitude for Raider Flooring. I was having a terrible time getting a proper quote for my rental through the property management company. I did some looking and I saw good reviews for Raider so I called. Derek even offered to come that day. I had a really bad situation with a move out and the subfloor was severely damaged. Pedro who did the installation fixed everything. He did an outstanding job! I'd ask for him. Well needless to say half of the house is looking good. Thank you Raider Flooring thank you Derek and thank you Pedro.Posted on Alesha WalkerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We divided my house up into four phases. We are nearing the end of phase 2, and I am very happy with all the work. I like that they allow you to bring slab samples home instead of a small sample that most flooring stores send you with. It really made a big difference on our choices. Owner is very nice and great to work with.Posted on Norman LooneyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The new floors are stunning! The quality is exceptional and very durable. The installers were very efficient and professional. It took only 3 hours from start to finish—moving furniture, removing old carpet, and putting down the new vinyl planks. I highly recommend Raider Flooring for your flooring needs.Posted on Daniel and EricaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had two very different experiences with Raider, so this is a mixed review. Initially, we contacted Raider for an estimate on carpet installation in a bedroom and on a staircase. They were prompt in their response and quickly set up a consultation. Afterward, we visited their store, selected our carpet, and received two separate quotes—one for the bedroom and another for the stairs, as they were still sourcing the carpet for the latter. The quotes were reasonable, and we felt the pricing was fair. The bedroom carpet installation went smoothly. Within a week, Raider scheduled the installation, and the crew arrived on time. They were professional, efficient, and careful with our belongings. They prepped the room, moved the furniture, and completed the job quickly. The results were fantastic—the room looked amazing, and the crew did an excellent job cleaning up afterward. We were very pleased with this part of the service. Unfortunately, our experience with the stair installation was quite different. A week later, we were informed that the crew would be coming to complete the stair project. On the scheduled day, the crew arrived, and we showed them the stairs, which led to our finished basement. From the start, the crew complained about various things—everything from the way the previous carpet was installed to the material of the stairs. They repeatedly left the door open, which is understandable when they were bringing supplies in and out. However, my wife asked them several times to keep the door closed when they were inside for long periods of time, especially considering the 100+ degree weather outside. When the job was done, they showed my wife the top of the stairs, which seemed fine. They then had her complete a survey, after which they said they would clean up. However, when I returned home, I was disappointed to find that while the carpet installation itself appeared okay at first glance, the walls along the staircase were heavily scuffed and scratched. It seemed as if no care was taken to avoid damaging them. As I inspected further, the situation was much worse on the walls under the stairs and on another adjacent wall. These areas were in terrible condition, with far more severe scratches and scuffs. It appeared as though no effort was made to protect these surfaces either and the damage was past a point of simple neglect or carelessness from the crew. What was most frustrating was that nothing had been done to prep or protect our belongings. Our high-end electronics, including a $2,000 receiver and a $5,000 projector, were left completely exposed and covered in dust and carpet debris. Even our personal ladder, which they used without asking, was left covered in dust and carpet bits and was moved across the room without being put back in place. Shockingly, this dust even made its way into our refrigerator’s freezer seal. At this point, it was too late to contact the company, so we spent the next hour carefully cleaning our electronics as the dust and carpet bits made their way inside the electronics, possibly ruining them, and the mess left behind. The negligence of the crew means we now have to do a deep clean on some of the electronics to prevent damage, and we'll likely need to repaint the walls or hire someone to repair the damage, which will cost around $500.Posted on Jerry HatleyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
